feeling in color: blue.i hear muffled sounds, like people chatting in the distance. i awake from a peaceful state of sleep, rub each eye in turn and yawn. the room i wake up to is not the room in which i'd fallen asleep, but i disregard this. i smile as i see friends of mine, classmates, family members idly chatting with each other. they are happy and laughing, but at what i cannot hear.   
i stand up, observing the room in which i find myself in. the walls are completely bare, painted in a deep shade of blue. there is light coming from the room in which my loved ones are gathered, and i see that i am gazing through a large window.   
i walk to feeling in color: blue.

feeling in color: red.i find myself in a stark white room, the walls bare and no exit to be shown. i realize that i am bound by a rope. a red, silk rope that is strangely reminiscent of tassles you might find on your mother's curtains is wrapped tightly around my body.   
rather than feeling panic, i stare curiously at the rope with which i am bound. i examine it closely and see that there is thick, black writing running the length of it.  
 
upon a closer look, i read, "you'll never have any friends." my mouth opens in mild shock and i am unable to speak. i continue reading. every insult that has been aimed at me in the past are written all ov feeling in color: red.

feeling in color: black.     the world slips away, like sand through my fingers. i am plunged into a complete and steady darkness. the air is very still and i fight back a feeling of uneasiness, trying to gather my wits, reasoning against this odd image. my eyes strain to adjust to the darkness, but only succeeds in giving me a headache.   
     all at once, a tremendous sense of dread fills my body, so overwhelming that i clutch at my chest to catch my breath. my face begins to feel hot and a lump rises in my throat. i fight back tears, my head spins and i begin to feel dizzy. i look around, hoping for an feeling in color: black.

almost.watching the mirror  it mocks you and you wonder.   
how is it that you  always come up  just short of  just good enough?   
the reflection isn't who you want to see  and you begin to think.   
why is it that you  always end up  
a little less  than what was expected?   
the person in the mirror is the person you can't help but be  and you start to wish.   
could you for once  just barely be the  just good enough  and things could be different? almost.

wow, it's been too long.
here's an update for anyone that still cares. =D

a. so i definitely forgot the entire plot of the story i was writing before, the one i stopped writing my 'feeling in color' series for.

b. i still haven't finished the 'feeling in color' series. i'm sure i'll have finished it by the end of the summer, but no promises.

c. i got rid of some (and by some i mean a lot!) of my deviations because i didn't feel like they were very good. and i can't bring myself to edit them.

d. i'm getting paid next week. i'm dog sitting, pet sitting, whatever. the dog i'm watching is adorable, and i'm getting a lot more money than i should be, so no complaints here.

Yeah, you are friends with Ricky and he is a 9th grader as is the Sarah I am thinking of. The Sarah I am thinking of has my lunch on most days and sits at the table with me on lunch days she also walks down the band hall in the morning. Am I correct? If I am not I will shoot myself in the jugggullaaarrrr! No I won't. But I'll rip my fucking heart out. :hug:
